At PSoE we feel that teaching student to garden is teaching them about how life works and how to Give Forward.

We show them to sow a seed and nurture a plant, and they learn about the cycle of life and about time, patience, nature, and cause and effect.

Students will monitor the weather and "root for the plants" when it storms. They keep careful track of their plants' progress and compare the ways different plants grow.
